(Reader Stories ! Cheers Patrick ✌️)
Well, well, well, imagine my surprise when I found myself being offered the opportunity of a lifetime: becoming a bar manager for a day on the infamous Soi 6 in Pattaya, Thailand.
Apparently, the regular manager had called in sick (or maybe they were just too hungover to face another day of debauchery), and they needed someone to fill in for them ASAP!
Lucky for them, I was more than happy to step up to the challenge. 😄
As soon as I arrived at the bar, I knew I was in for a wild ride.
The neon lights were flashing, the bass was thumping, and the air was thick with the scent of cheap booze and sweaty bodies.
But despite the chaos, I was determined to prove myself as a competent and capable leader.
Drinking, Talking loudly with customer and all of it surrounded by plenty of hotties ???
YES I CAN DO!
(I will be good Bryan, don’t worry 😅)
Here’s what I learned during my day/night as a Soi 6 bar manager:
Lesson #1: Always Expect the Unexpected

You never know what kind of curveballs life is going to throw at you, especially when you’re managing a bar on Soi 6.
As I walked into the bar for my first day as a manager, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves.
I had been promised a crash course in management, but I wasn’t expecting anything too crazy. Boy, was I wrong.
Just a few hours after settling in, one of the girls approached me and whispered in my ear, “Hey boss, i want fuck you?”
Before I could respond, she slipped a wad of bills into my pocket! All the girls was laughing out loud!
I was taken aback, to say the least. I had heard rumors about girls propositioning managers for extracurricular activities, but I didn’t realize it happened so openly.
I quickly realized that in this line of work, you always have to expect the unexpected.
After gathering my composure, I gently declined the offer and reminded the girl that I was only there for the day.
She shrugged it off and went back to work, leaving me to marvel at the boldness of the situation. 555
Only in Pattaya!
Strong start for sure 😂
Lesson #2: Embrace the Art of Negotiation

As the night wore on, more and more customers started pouring into the bar. Some were repeat customers who greeted me warmly, while others were fresh faces eager to explore the world of Soi 6.
One particular group of guys caught my attention.
They seemed to be having a great time, ordering rounds of drinks and playing animatedly with the girls.
However, as the bill started racking up and the beer starting to make an effect, I noticed that they were starting to balk at the prices.
That’s when I stepped in. Using all the charm and persuasion I could muster, I explained the pricing structure to them and emphasized the value they were getting for their money.
I pointed out the quality of the drinks, the attentiveness of the staff, and the overall ambiance of the bar.
To seal the deal, I threw in a couple of free shots and convinced the girls to spend a little extra time with the guys.
Before long, the men were smiling and nodding, happily signing the receipt and promising to return the next night.
However, not all interactions were as smooth sailing.
One of the girls kept sneaking off to use her phone, even though it was against the rules. Each time I caught her, I had to remind her firmly but respectfully to put it away. Eventually, she got the message and focused on her job.
These experiences reinforced the importance of negotiation in running a successful bar.
By striking a balance between pleasing the customers and turning a profit, I was able to create a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Lesson #3: Prioritize Safety Above All Else

Toward the end of the night, a guy came bounding down the stairs, practically tripping over himself in his rush to reach me.
His eyes were wide with panic, and he blurted out, “Dude, I need a rubber! I left mine at home!”
555
Before I could react, one of the girls sidled up beside him, giggling uncontrollably. “Oi, you forgot lor?” she teased, barely containing her laughter.
No condom no fuck !
I couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation.
Handing the man a condom, I advised him to always keep one handy, especially since he seemed to attract trouble.
Feeling relieved, the man bounded upstairs with the girl.
Moments later, they emerged, both grinning from ear to ear.
The girl was still chuckling softly, shaking her head at the man’s forgetfulness.
“Boss, this man crazy!! same you!”
I laughed and replied a friendly, “Go away 😂” to the girl.
We exchanged a conspiratorial grin, enjoying the absurdity of it all.
Lesson #4: Learn to Roll with the Punches

As the night progressed, the bar was hopping with action.
Customers were getting cozy with the girls, drinks were flowing freely, and everybody was having a blast.
Suddenly, I heard a commotion near the bar.
Two gorgeous girls were locked in a fierce battle over a handsome customer who was trying to mediate the situation.
Unfortunately, the girls were too fired up to listen to reason.
They continued grappling with each other, their curves pressed tightly together as they struggled for dominance.
Meanwhile, the customer was trapped between them, desperately trying to escape injury.
Just as I thought the situation was escalating out of control, the mamasan sprang into action like a superhero in a tight leather catsuit.
With lightning speed and precision, she separated the girls, tossing them aside like rag dolls.
The customer, impressed by the display, couldn’t help but stare at the mamasan’s impressive physique. 555
I was in shock too trust me!
We all erupted into laughter as the mamasan reprimanded the girls for their behavior.
The customer, still recovering from the shock, ordered a round of drinks for everyone to celebrate the spectacle.
Et voila! how having a customer to ring the bell ! Create a fight ! 😜
The end ?
As the clock strikes midnight, I bid farewell to the rowdy crowd and shutter the doors of the bar.
It’s been a wild ride, full of twists and turns, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
Sure, there were moments of frustration and confusion, but there were also countless instances of joy, laughter, and camaraderie.
I met amazing (mostly drunk) people from all walks of life, each with their own stories to tell and secrets to share.
I learned how to navigate tricky situations with grace and poise, and I discovered the true meaning of flexibility and adaptability.
Most importantly, I was blessed to experience the magic of Pattaya on the other side!
As a fucking bar manager ! How cool is that ?
Where else in the world can you find endless nights of debauchery, laughter, temptations, and unforgettable memories?
As I leave the bar behind, I can’t help but feel a twinge of sadness in my heart. But if my friend asks me to run the bar again tomorrow, you bet your ass I’ll say hell yes.
Why? Because life is short, and we deserve to live it to the fullest.
So, dear reader, if you ever find yourself yearning for a change in your life and excitement, come visit me in Pattaya.
Together, we’ll raise a glass to the joys of mongering in the greatest city on earth. Cheers mate!
